Reason for choosing SCC: Stresscrete recommended the use of SCC because of the congested reinforcement in the integral beam-column joints, and the need to get a good architectural finish on the complex shapes.

Type of unit: Precast perimeter beams with integral beam-column joints and cantilevered balcony.

Outcome:  A very good surface finish was achieved and the concrete flowed easily through the reinforcement.
