Type of Unit:  Decorative structural wall panels and a war memorial monument.

Reason for choosing SCC:  Waitakere City Council has a policy of incorporating relevant local artworks into the public buildings it commissions.  The architect chose to integrate the artworks into the surface of the building's concrete structure, and the surface of the adjacent wall memorial.  Exploration of mix design options showed SCC to be the best way to achieve the required surface finish quality.

Outcome:  Permanent public artworks using high quality concrete surface finishes.
