What the judges said

Whilst it is not a building as such, the judges commended the Coming Home to Concrete campaign for raising awareness of the advantages of residential concrete construction - from floor slabs through to fully concrete houses.

This multi-media campaign included comprehensive electronic and printed information designed to showcase concrete and outline its role in providing comfortable, stylish and strong homes at affordable prices.

There is no doubt that this campaign will enhance the reputation of concrete used in residential buildings, and showcase the positive outcomes that can be achieved when concrete is used to create resilient and healthy homes for all New Zealanders.
