What the judges said

The ArchEng Student Workshop is a relatively new initiative designed to encourage aspiring construction specialists to work together to incorporate the best insights and latest technology into a building design based around concrete.

It is the first of its type in New Zealand, and brings together a range of different perspectives at student level.

The judges noted that this was a game changer, even if it is budding.

It currently has a limited audience and needs to be expanded, but the potential of this excellent initiative was acknowledged, and the judges considered that it was highly deserving of recognition and support.
